Where your money will go…
The fundraising goals for our Ties and Tails Gala “Barking Mad” are ambitious to say the least.
We know that our community and its business leaders can really pack a punch
when they are asked to step up to the plate. Since 2014, through hard work
and dedication, we have rescued over 13,000 animals from high kill shelters
throughout the state. In our first month of opening, we were instrumental in
helping the public shelters in Ventura County achieve “No Kill” status.
Our “Pawcratic Oath” states, “We will lead, protect, heal comfort, and shelter
those who cannot speak for themselves”. You will be helping to fund our
essential programs to include:
•Rescuing animals throughout California and other states.
•Expansion of our Paw Works Veterinary Hospital with additional doctors, staff, equipment and
services to provide the highest, affordable care for our community animals.
•Expansion of our Board and Train facility, with more advanced equipment, care units and supplies
to improve enrichment, rehabilitation and care of our rescued animals
•Offering additional services to low income residents of our community.
•Expansion of our child educational program, CPA, to teach children the importance of
responsibility, empathy and care for animals.
